Arnell Johnson

Arnell is the widow of Charles Johnson, the mother of Jennifer Johnson and Jessica Hudson and a proud grandmother to Jayden and Jaxten Poydras.  She’s the youngest of five who carried much of her load in the cotton fields in Louisiana and Mississippi. 

Arnell welcomed Christ in her life at an early age and began the pursuit of true happiness.  She obtained a Bachelor degree in education with a minor in Counseling at Southern University.  She is now retired after 32 years from the Department of Revenue having served as a Revenue Tax Analyst, Collector, and Customer Service Supervisor.  
Retired yes but, still working in the service of the Lord at the United Christian Faith Ministry!  She serves as the Administrative Church Mother, Director of the Women’s Connect Team, Intercessory Prayer Team, and a Small Group leader.

Arnell’s love for God and His people has always landed her in the position of serving people.  She loves sharing the good news of the gospel, her application to the word, her experiences, and encourages others to pursue this loving relationship with a loving and compassionate Savior!

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is a Baton Rouge native and mother of two young kings in training, Jayden and Jaxten.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Southern University, teaching certification from Southeastern Louisiana University, and ESL Certification from Louisiana State University.  With 15 years of experience, she is a high school Spanish teacher and serves as the English as the Second Language Coordinator for her school.  Fluent in Spanish, she also takes on the role of translator for colleagues and family members alike.  She serves as Area Director of Discipleship at UCFM, is an active member of the Music Ministry, POP Ministry, and Women’s Connect.  When she’s not serving, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, baking, reading, and cheering on her boys in sports.

Dr. Terri Byrd

Dr. Terri L Byrd serves as one of the Women’s Ministry Directors at United Christian Faith Ministries in Baton Rouge, La.  Her focus areas include women’s growth, small group leadership, and women’s prayer.  Weekly, she serves as a Power 4 Living table captain in addition to sharing Motivation Monday inspirational you tube videos for women.  She is the developer and content creator. Dr. Byrd is an encourager amongst women. She serves as the President of the National Congress of Black Women, Baton Rouge Regional Chapter impacting the lives of women and communities in the spheres of health, education, politics, social development, and finance.

She also serves as the Chair of the core team of the Center for Health Equity that recently established the first ever Louisiana Office on Women and Community Health.  For over 12 years she has hosted the Closer Look Bible Study at the Baton Rouge Heritage Nursing Home and the Annual Christmas Outreach for the residents.

Dr. Byrd is the Founder of the Daughters of Zion United. She has hosted an Annual Prayer Breakfast for 10 years for over 200 women each year. She is the founder of a Christian apparel brand called DOZUCI.

Brenda Williams

Brenda Williams, serves as Area Director of the Fellowship Department at United Christian Faith Ministries. Her greatest fulfillment comes from serving in ministry and mentoring young married couples with husband Elder Darian Williams. A Registered Dietitian with over twenty-five years of experience in hospital settings, Brenda is the Nutritional Services Administrator and Food Service Contract Monitor for Louisiana Department of Health/Office of Behavior Health at Eastern Louisiana Mental Health System. Brenda is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, College of Agricultural, Family and Consumer Sciences at Southern University and A&M College.  She is a community health advocate and Diabetes Educator at the East Feliciana Drug & Alcohol Awareness Council.
Brenda is passionate about working with clients and takes a personalized approach of blending functional and integrative nutrition to investigate the body as a system looking for root causes in order to bring the body back in balance. Her mission is to reverse the epidemic of preventable chronic disease by empowering individuals with tools needed to promote optimal health across the lifespan. Brenda is inspired daily by her husband, their three children and son-in-love. In her free time Brenda enjoys hiking, reading, vacationing and spending quality time with family and friends. Her favorite scripture is: Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
