Week 1: Submitted and Committed: Praying for Submission and Trust in Following God
Scriptures: John 14:15, Matthew 16: 24, Deuteronomy 5: 33

Adoration:
  • We adore God for being Elohim, the God of majesty & power. We adore him for being the way, truth, and life, the director of our path.
  • We adore him that through his righteousness we can humbly submit to the one true & Holy God.

Confession:
  • We confess that we have followed the path of unrighteousness and impurity, we submit to the way of purity, truth and righteousness.
  • We confess that our paths have not aligned with the purposes of God, we repent for our disobedience, we confess that following the Lord shall be our only course.

Thanksgiving:
  • We thank the Lord for the newness of life. We are grateful to him for forgiveness, renewal, and redemption. We thank the Lord that through his redeeming power we can walk in obedience to his word.
  • We thank God for the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, for conviction that marks our commitment unto him.

Supplication:
  • We pray for the city of Baton Rouge, UCFM, and body of Christ at large to come into divine unity. We pray for alignment, new ideas, and coming together to fulfill the purposes of God through his church.
  • We pray that the vision of UCFM will come to pass through commitment to the work of the Holy Spirit.
Week 2: The Mind of Christ: Praying for a Mind Reset and Deliverance from Mental Strongholds
Scriptures: Romans 12:2; Philippians 2:5; Psalms 18:1-2; Isaiah 26:3; 2 Timothy 1:7

Adoration:
  • We praise God that Christ is our head; Christ is Lord over all creation; He is eternal
  • We praise God that he is our stronghold and in Him there is no fault; He is Our supreme Lord

Confession:
  • We confess that we have the mind of Christ and we possess the power to cast out strongholds in our lives.
  • We confess that God is our shield and the horn of our salvation, our stronghold.

Thanksgiving:
  • We thank you Father that you keep our mind in perfect peace as we focus on you.
  • We thank you Father for giving us power, love, and a sound mind.

Supplication:
  • We pray that we would delight ourselves in the Lord and that we would receive wisdom and understanding of his word. We pray for a mind reset and renewal for UCFM, for alignment with God’s thoughts of us.
  • We pray that we would cast down every thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We pray for the mental healing and stability of your children.
Week 3: Empowered by Love: Praying to Love and Serve like Christ
Scriptures: I John 4:8, Psalm 100:3, Romans 5:8, John 13:34, Matthew 25:37-40, Romans 12:10, I Corinthians 13:1-8,  16:14, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:14

Adoration:
  • We adore and praise God that he is love, that his great love has been shed abroad in our hearts and that we are rooted and grounded in love
  • We adore and praise God that the earth belongs to the Lord, that he is our creator, maker and sustainer

Confession:
  • We confess and repent for the times when we did things with any other motivation than love, we declare that all that we do for God and for our brothers and sisters in Christ is from love.
  • We confess and repent for when we neglected to help the poor, destitute, widows and our neighbors. We declare that we will help, support and show God’s love to those that are without

Thanksgiving:
  • We give thanks to God for showing love to us by sending Christ to die for us, while we were sinners. Thank him that we can show genuine love to others because his love was put into our hearts.
  • We give thanks to God that we have the power of the Holy Spirit that helps us to love with an agape love, that we are able to forgive by his grace and to show genuine love and compassion.

Supplication:
  • We pray and ask God for a true spirit of love and servant hood to be exhibited at UCFM. That as we grow we do not lose the heart and mission of our calling as, pray for a fresh passionate love for God and our neighbor.
  • We pray and ask God for his body to be clothed in love, that a greater unity is birthed among his church, that Christ’s peace flows from that place of love. We pray for divine healing and preservation for the members of UCFM, we ask for deep soul healing and restoration.
Week 4: Obedience to the Assignment: Praying for a Willing and Obedient Spirit
Scriptures: Philippians 2:13, Hebrews 10:38, Isaiah 1:19-20, 6:8, Luke 9:62, Acts 5:29; 1 Peter 1:14

Adoration:
  • We adore God for the ability to worship him in Spirit & Truth, We reverence our God, Yahweh and esteem adoration upon him for the gift, guidance, and outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon his children who submit to his word.
  • We praise God that he has put his will in our hearts and that he also gives us power to carry out his will, that he is all powerful, mighty and full of wisdom.

Confession:
  • We confess and repent for when we drew back from the Spirit of God out of fear, rebellion and ignorance. We declare that we have willing and obedient spirits and we desire to do his will.
  • We confess that we put our hands to the plow and we don’t look back, we say here we are Lord “Send us”

Thanksgiving:
  • We thank God for the boldness to obey and follow his leading and instructions, we thank God for the grace of his Holy Spirit that empowers, leads, guides and teaches us.
  • We thank God that we are his sheep that hears his voice, that we are able to discern when he is speaking and that we are enabled to obey quickly.

Supplication:
  • We pray for the children in East Baton Rouge Parish as they return to school that God would cover them, strengthen them, anoint them for a new school year. We pray for more willing intercessors and watchmen to cover this region and country.
  • We pray and ask God for the resources needed for the new facility, pray for an increased willingness to give and to fund the work of the ministry. Pray for those that God has already ordained to be kingdom financiers to be sent to UCFM and to other ministries.

Our Father,

We pray for a fresh start in August, asking for divine guidance and favor to navigate the month with purpose and clarity. We seek you Lord for a deeper understanding of your Word, for a stronger prayer life, and for a more fervent devotion to the faith and to building Christ’s Body, The Church. We pray for unity, love, and understanding within our families, we ask for strength to face challenges together and for deeper connections. We ask for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, empowering individuals to walk in new levels of Kingdom authority and Kingdom dominion. We are believing and seeking for the Holy Spirit’s guidance and wisdom to make righteous decisions and to discern your will.
